Leader resilience building

There are leaders in every organization, at every level, and they all serve an important role. Not only do leaders act as visionaries, but they also have a significant impact on the health and wellness of their team members, more so than even a family doctor or therapist. As a result, when a leader struggles or lacks the tools to navigate the challenges of the role, the whole team may be impacted. When leaders are supported and their resilience is reinforced, they are better equipped to uplift their team members and help them succeed in current and future roles, creating a successful organization as a whole.

Through leader resilience building at Manitoba Blue Cross, we offer 90-minute facilitated debriefings that provide a flexible structure for peers from an organization to unpack the experience of being a leader. The facilitator guides participants through a check-in, acknowledgement of the current challenges facing the leaders, resilience-building through identifying strengths and strategies, and a closing checkout to wrap up the experience. The opportunity to connect and debrief in a facilitated setting is meaningful and well-received by leaders at all levels.
Leader resilience building is offered at a reduced rate for groups with Manitoba Blue Cross Employee Assistance Program (EAP) coverage or at no additional cost for those with group facilitation hours included in their plan.
These sessions are available on a fee-for-service basis.
